December 13 - Scout meeting; Board of Review. All boys planning on advancing must be ready by this date.

January 10 - Court of Honor - Presentation of Awards will be on the 1st floor of the church instead of the regular meeting room. All parents are urged to attend, so mark this data on your calendar.

January 11, 12, 13 - Scout trip to Hanging Rock State Park, Parents can expect to receive a call about transportation from Ann Merzbacher. Please give her your assistance.

Scout dues for 1973-1974 must be tuned in - $12.00 per boy. Please send checks to Wally Hill, 305 Yorktown Drive, Chapel Hill, N.C. Make checks payable to "Troop 9, Boy Scouts of America"

The pending 50 miler is sponsored by the Council. The trip begins December 26 in Siler City, N.C., and ends December 30 at Moncure, N.C. The hike follows the Rocky River. Boys interested in this trip must let Mr. Ripperton know by December 13.
