There is a need to fill functions from the Troop Parents Committee. We need parents to help Òbehind the scenesÓ so the uniformed leaders can spend their time working with the boys in the outdoors
Here is a sample of what is needed:
Training Coordinator (Keeping track of training records)
Outdoor Activity Coordinator (Maintaining Tour Permits)
Communications with Parents
Advancement Tracking (Record Keeping)
Equipment Tracking
Secretary
Membership
The district representatives facilitated a conversation about how the Troop Parents Committee works best with a growing troop.
In addition, we need to have policy in place for certain troop habits (Some of these may already be policy). Examples include: waiving fees in certain situations (hardship, new scouts), purchasing new books for new scouts, fundraising, policy for behavioral issues, resolution of troop parent committee disagreements.
TreasurerÕs Report: Balance $2025.62. Need for the purchase of two patrols worth of equipment due to replacements and the addition of a fourth patrol.
Past Outings:
