Treasurer Report - Lisa Ripperton John Risk
We have $848.35 in the bank.  Troop dues of $90 are now due and will be past due by the 2nd camping trip.  A scout who has not paid dues by the 2nd trip will not be able to participate on the outings.

Fund Raising Brief - John Risk
We discussed fund raising generally.  T9 used to do fund raising and also had corporate sponsors.  This year, Gregg will be the popcorn colonel and T9 committed to sell 1 carton of popcorn.  The general feeling is that the $90 dues won't fully cover what the troop wants to do, so we will need to do some type of fund raising.  A suggestion of tieing the Salesmanship MB to the fund raising activity was made.

Troop Calendar
Bill Stonecypher presented the calendar and process behind developing the calendar.  Each months' trips and other monthly highlights were briefed to the committee.  Wendy Painter made a motion to approve the calendar as it stands.  Andy Pate seconded the motion.  A vote was tallied and the calendar was approved unanimously.

There was some secondary discussion regarding scheduling Sunday @ 3:00 for personal fitness and whether there were actually requirements to meet every two weeks.  Point was noted, but there is no change due to the general difficulty of arranging personal schedules like this.  Bill reviewed personal fitness requirement 8 and it indeed says to perform the measurements again, but does not specify how of course.  If there are schedule conflicts, then arrangements will need to be made with the merit badge counselors.

Dave Scocca also highly recommends that the summer camp selection and arrangements be made way in advance.  Like now.

There was a brief discussion about younger adult leaders participating and how many we can use.  No action or decision was taken, but guidance is that that these decisions are the scoutmaster's prerogative.
