Meeting called to order by Dave Filpus.

Item:  Congratulations to Greg Filpus and Wesley Painter who were recognized at a recent town council meeting with a citizen award for their work improving the greenways.  Their names were placed on a plaque in the Town Hall along with the other recipients (which included 2 other boy scouts).

Item:  Minutes from previous meeting were accepted.

Item:  Treasurer's report.   Current balance is $3,664.15.  All bills have been paid.  This balance does not include summer camp monies.

Item:  Trips & Activities.  This year's bike trip will be 5/26 - 5/28.  The format will be the same as last year with biking on Saturday followed by a pot luck dinner and Court of Honor.  Next week's meeting will be a bowling event.  The meeting on 5/23 will be a Board of Review for those advancing in ranks.  The meeting on 5/30 will be the outings planning meeting for next year's activities--all scouts who can should attend.  The next several meetings will be used to prepare for summer camp merit badges.

Item:  Uniforms.  No uniform changes.

Item:  Construction at the church will probably begin in spring 2008 and last approximately 15 months.  Preliminary inquiries have been made for a meeting site during this time.

Item:   Recruiting.  Brian and Daniel have expressed interest in being den chiefs for a pack.  This should be a good way to recruit into the troop.  The webelos outing in the fall is in the preliminary planning stages.  Contacts will be made soon for this event in late September.

Item:  The search is on for a new scoutmaster.  District personnel are assisting in this effort.

Item:  Wesley is requesting to reorganize the troop into 2 patrols.  It was agreed that this is a good idea and he should work with the scoutmaster to implement this.

The meeting was adjourned.
