Item:  Introductions were made for our visitor.

Item:  Annual dues.  Now is the time to pay annual dues.  These dues are $60 per year.  Checks should be made payable to "BSA Troop 9" and should be given to Dave Filpus or Lisa Ripperton.

Item:  Final logistics were discussed for the October canoe trip this Saturday.  Patrol leaders will be getting a final count of the scouts attending and the adult leaders will be arranging to have the proper number of canoes at the site.

Item:   Tom Hock is working to contact Bill Maddox to firm up January's caving/hiking trip.  More information as soon as it is available.

Item:  Uniforms.  The question of Class B uniforms has been given to the scouts but there has been no response yet.  One scout is working on a design for a t-shirt but until a presentation is made to the committee no action will be taken.

Item:  The National Scout Store now has an online store.  There is a pointer to this site on our web page.  Everyone is encouraged to use this site when possible but the uniform closet will still be maintained.

Item:  Weekly programs.  The scouts are currently working to complete the last two requirements for their Pioneering MB.  (Luke is working with the scouts on this.)  The next badges are Forestry and Traffic Safety.  Ms Painter will be assisting the scout leaders in planning activities for these badges during upcoming meetings.  Mr Vanderburg will also be working with the scout leaders to keep rank requirement activities in the weekly meeting plans.
Item:  Recruiting.  The Webelos campout was attended by 7-9 webelos.  They all seemed to have a good time.  As a follow-up, plans are in the works for a family movie night in mid-January.  Mike Miles and Wayne Vanderburg will be organizing this with assistance from the scouts.

Item:  New adult leader.  Andrew Turnier earned his Eagle from Troop 9 in the mid-1990's and has returned to help as an adult leader.

Item:  Eagle BOR.  Greg Filpus and Wesley Painter both passed their Eagle BOR.  John Risk was attending an Eagle committee meeting to discuss some concerns with current procedures.

The meeting was adjourned.
