Lyman Ripperton Memorial
The cabinetry design is in the approval process at Chapel of the Cross.
It is now time to consider donations for the memorial. If you wish
to make a donation, a copy of the proposal and directions for making the
donation will be sent shortly in a separate email. We will be disseminating
the donation information as far as possible simply to give everyone who
wishes to give the opportunity to do so.
May Camping
A May camping and bike trip is planned for May 5 and 6. Trip sheets
are now available. There is a planned time for a picnic on Sunday
for the campers/bikers and their families. All are welcome.
Please note: while bikers will leave from Hillsborough on their bikes,
parents must make arrangements for their child and bike to get back to
Chapel Hill from the camping area on Sunday.
Summer Camp
Summer camp medical forms and remaining money are due by May 1 to Amy Weaver.
Summer Hike
The troop has considered a 50 mile hike in the summer but has not been
able to execute one in the last few years. If there is a parent who
wishes to lead this type of hike please, let Dave know as soon as possible.
Troop Elections
Troop elections will be Tuesday, May 1. All scouts need to attend.
