Orange/Mawat District Fall Camporee

The Camporee is a two night encampment of Boy Scout troops and Webelos dens from all over Orange and Durham counties with organized activities during the day Saturday and a campfire Saturday night.

The Saturday activities include a orienteering contest and other  activities.

Equipment

Bring normal car camping equipment. Since this is a public troop activity, we prefer that the troop tents be used.

Uniforms

Class A uniforms are required for flag ceremonies and campfire. Scout T-shirts are preferred wear during activities.

Food and Water

Eat before leaving Friday night. It the O/A puts on its normal Friday evening dinner, that may be an option. The patrols will organize four meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday. 

Water is readily available at the campsite - you must supply your own containers.
