Directions:
From Chapel Hill and points North.
Go South on 15-501 toward Pittsboro.
Turn Right onto Russell Chapel Road, heading West.(The first major road
past the Haw River Bridge is Russell Chapel Road)
Take Russell Chapel Road (West), a little more than 1 mile.
Watch for a normal green street sign on the right, that says "Saralyn
Rd" (gravel).
Follow Saralyn Rd, passing East Road until the road narrows.
Turn right onto Quartz Hill Road, a narrow winding drive.
Continue a short distance to a fork in the road, where you will follow
left to the bottom of the hill.
At the first opportunity, turn right and look to the right for a pole
with a rather small sign that says "146".
The road passes through undeveloped property, ending at the homestead.
The red house you see first is our rental property, ours is just beyond
that.
When you get to this point, come to one of the houses for directions to
the campsite. I will try to watch for you if I know what time you are
coming. Also, I plan to post cardboard signs with "Troop 9" on them at
each turn beginning with Saralyn.
