The dedication for the Lyman Ripperton Memorial is set for Saturday, October 20th, at 2:00pm. The program will be held in the Chapel, at the Chapel of the Cross (next to the planetarium) in Chapel Hill. All who knew him, and appreciate the work that he did with over 28 years as an adult leader with BSA Troop 9, are welcome to attend.

The program will be a part of our fall Court of Honor. The Lyman Memorial is a custom built trophy case (plans) (still under construction) and will be mounted on the South end of the East Wall of the scout room. It will be available for vewing, before and after the ceremony. Refreshments will be served afterward.

Although not required, I would appreciate an RSVP only if you not associated with Troop 9 and are planning to attend. This will help with planning.
